Q: What's a Prepaid Card?

A: A " Prepaid card " or " Stored Value " card is a new payment method that essentially means
" pay in advance ".It enables consumers to place value on cards and use them like cash or checks.

Q: How does a prepaid card work?

A: A prepaid card is a convenient way for consumer, corporate entities or issuing banks to exchange funds. The e-Orange Internet card can be used in all Internet sites displaying the MasterCard logo. It cannot be used for transactions on ATMs or POS machines. As for the remaining cards, they can be used at all merchant locations where the MasterCard brand mark is displayed: locally and internationally, on the Internet and on ATM machines (with a limit of $500/day or �400/day).

Q: How do I activate my card?

A: You can activate your card through:

Q: How do we pay for the card fee?

A: Upon activation of your card, the card fee (10 USD or 10 Euro) will be automatically deducted from your account, whether you activate your prepaid card through:
- The Internet
- Or by calling Bank Audi at: 00961121212

Q: Can I change my PIN number?

A: Yes. You can change the PIN code by visiting any of Bank Audi branches and submit a PIN change request. A new randomly generated PIN will be sent to your branch for collection.

Q: Can I close my card account at any time?

A: Yes. But if you did not use the money on your card by the expiry date and you do not want to renew it, you can claim the full remaining balance after deducting a closing of account fee (5$ or 5�).

Q: What happens if I close my card account without claiming my remaining balance?

A: If you do not claim the remaining balance within 60 days after the expiry date of the card, then the remaining balance may be classified as unclaimed property.

Q: What happens if my card is lost/stolen?

A: You can issue a replacement card by providing the bank with your card number. No card replacement can be processed without your card number.

Q: Can I reclaim my unused balance or issue a card replacement in case of loss/theft?

A: Yes. However, no claim of unused balance can be processed without your card number. In addition, for security purposes, all claims will be subject to requester�s identity verification.

Q: What is the validity of the Non-Personalized prepaid card?

A: The Non-Personalized card is valid for 12 months from the date of activation, which is printed on the receipt, and not as it is shown on the expiry date field printed on the front of the card. The validity of the lime card is 24 months.

A: The Personalized card is valid for one year. Until the end of the expiry date, which is printed on the front of the card.

A: Lime is targeted to all cardholders who wish to send money from Lebanon to another country. It is most practical for workers sending money on a monthly basis to their loved ones abroad (whether to Philippines, Sri Lanka, Egypt) and for students studying in another country.

Q: How can I transfer money with my Lime card?

A: Two cards will be issued when you apply for the Lime card: one card will be in the sender's name (the primary card) and the other will be sent in the name of the recipient (the secondary card), whether a family member or a friend. You will be able to electronically add money to the recipient's card instantly. Just visit any Bank Audi branch or any Authorized Agent and load the card with the desired cash value.

Q: How can I send the recipient's Lime card to the destination country?

A: - You can either send the recipient's card yourself Or, - The bank can send the recipient's card by International Courier Serviceupon his request (charges apply).

Q: Can boss/parents send money on a monthly basis to the recipient of the Lime card?

A: Yes. The boss/parent can sign a "schedule loading form" authorizing the bank to debit on a monthly basis his/her credit card and credit the lime card with a predetermined amount.

A: Lime is less expensive and more secure than any other traditional methods of sending money abroad. It's a low-cost alternative to money orders or wire transfers.

Q: How do I renew my non-personalized card?

A: The renewal of your non-personalized card is not automatic. If you wish to renew it, you have to inform the bank every year (since it is only valid for a year from the activation date) so that it can re-issue a new card for you.

A: In the case of Lime and Yellow, the renewal of your cards will be made automatically. In case you have an Azure, Gift or e-Orange card and you wish to renew it, you have to inform the bank so that it can re-issue a new card for you at the expiry date.

Q: What is the Scratch & Win game?

A: Whenever you receive your new card or anytime you load it with cash amounts, you will receive a "Scratch and Win" ticket which will allow you to try your luck and get the chance to win different cash prizes.
All you have to do is scratch the indicated area and look for the cash value. If you have won an amount, this amount will be credited to your card immediately.
